Nippon was made in Japan between 1891 and 1921. This rare cobalt blue and heavy gold syrup pitcher with lid and underplate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. The pitcher is appropriately marked as shown but the underplate which obviously matches is unmarked since this is a set. The underplate is 5 3/4" across. The pitcher is 5 1/4" to the top of the lid, 4" high without the lid and 4" at the widest point. This is one of several pieces of Nippon that will be listed from our personal collection so check back to see the other fine Nippon items we plan to list.
