Hobbs, Brockunier & Co. produced fine glassware in the United States from 1863 until 1891. This fine cranberry and white hobnail or dew drop pitcher from a Texas estate is an excellent example of their work. The pitcher has no chips, cracks, hairlines or discoloration and even the points of the hobnails are undamaged. It has a great polished pontil as shown in the photos. Measurements are 7 1/2" high, 7" across the spout and handle, and about 7" across the body. Texas residents to pay 8 1/4% sales tax or provide exemption information.
