This is a contemporary southwest Native American polychrome pottery pot. It is handmade with southwestern clay and hand painted in a combination of traditional and contemporary southwestern styles. The base color of the pot is off-white. Right below the rim begins the hand painted decoration boosting geometric shapes and including colors such as black and a brown that has a touch of red. The beautiful southwestern design wraps all the way around the pot. The pot is signed on the bottom by the artist "Bissell". The pot is in good condition, no chips/cracks. It has a few chips to the paint on the bottom of the pot but they are not visible when it is standing. It is 3.75" tall, 7" wide at the widest point and the top opening is 4" in diameter. It weighs 1lb 5.2oz.
