Florence Ceramics began making figurines and other items in Pasadena, CA during World War II. The company was sold in the 1960's but had already made their mark due to the wonderful facial expressions and 19th century clothing beautifully done on their figurines. This is a fine example of their work. Irene, stands 5 7/8" tall and 4 1/8" wide at her widest point. She is dressed in a gorgeous white dress with gold trim that is completely intact. She also boosts a green bonnet and mittens with a gold muff resting on her cheek. She has beautiful blonde hair with rosy cheeks and red lips. She is stunning! She is in great condition, no chips or cracks. Her name along with the Florence Ceramics mark and the artist's initials are on the bottom of the figurine.
