Deep price reduction! What a little darlin'. This is a nice 9" antique German all bisque baby doll. He is perfect for your doll cabinet, and is always cheerful and well behaved. This baby is circa 1911 or so. He is good quality, unmarked-very similar to Kestner, but I do not believe he's a Kestner baby. Perhaps a Hertel and Schwab. The adorable character babies with composition bodies are plentiful, but it is a rare thing to find these tots with all bisque bodies! This little one has well painted features with brown eyes. The top of his head has a subtle molded curl. This doll is in excellent condition! No cracks, breaks, restorations, etc. His flesh wash has some uneven areas: wrist, fingertips, toes, etc., where it was not perfectly applied at the factory. Beautifully modeled body with realistic, attractive details. Baby has a minor kiln stress line in the bend of his wrist. Very sweetly dressed too! A long antique lacy cotton gown, precious antique pink/cream sweater ( with some wear-a tattered sleeve), and matching booties. He's offered at a low price too. Take him home.
