Only CINER can make the look of real so convincingly and so beautifully!
From my personal collection– Celebrating this year its 125th Anniversary, CINER is the only surviving fine American costume jewelry company left from all the pre and post war giants, so popular and renown at the time. Each piece designed and produced by them is unique and of the highest quality.
Such also is the case with the unique wearable art brooch offered here. It represents three flowers growing of the same stem; one fully opened and the other two, still quite small. The branch springs two leaves that are enveloped around the flowers and frame them. The gold-work design is very dimensional and outlines the shapes and textures of the flowers’ petals. It is done in a Florentine work with the visible results of the metal looking silky and flexible. The stamen of each flower are made of a cluster of clear small, prong set, Swarovski crystals. Same size, prong set, crystals set along the center of each leaf delineate its dividing line. The Florentine work extends to the obverse side of the brooch giving it the same silky sensation. The CINER signature is engraved at the bottom of the base.
It is a spectacular, artistic and prominent brooch, somehow conveying a feeling of a family or of a mother with two children…. It is chic and elegant and very wearable like all of Ciner jewelry.

About CINER: It was not until 1932 that CINER, a renowned designer of fine jewelry since 1892, had switched their production to a high end fashion jewelry. However, ever since, they have maintained the high standards not only of their spectacular designs, but have used only rich enameling, heavy metals and premium gold and silver- tone plating, assuring substantial feel and the longevity of their jewelry. Their jewelry, many of which successfully imitate fine jewelry, is known for being encrusted with the finest quality of glass beads, crystals and stones by Swarovski and their imitation pearls are produced in Japan. In the past several years, CINER began using semi-precious stones in the fashion jewelry and it remains in high demand among the collectors. Ciner jewelry is considered an art and their vintage fashion jewelry is a part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s permanent Fashion Department collection. They have also been commissioned to create costume jewelry for the Museum’s Gift Shop. Today, Ciner is the only surviving company from those wonderful postwar years that saw the emergence of very fine costume jewelry. It is family owned and operated company designing and producing their look of real and quality jewelry in the heart of New York City!
