This authentic silk georgette dress is a very beautiful example of the high fashion of 1920-s.
It is of the level, that might be worthy of Downton Abbey or Woody Allen movies about the Jazz age of 1920-s-30-s.
This dress preserved the original hand-sewing parts as well as the machine sewing alterations
(upper part was reinforced, because the beads embroidery is so abundant, that it broke some hand-made seams).
It is hand embroidered with pink and green beads into bunches of flowers surrounded by green leaves.
Its original feature- the back part- a loose rectangular embroidered flap (20" x 16").
It is snapped on the left side.
Its length is 47"
The color is beautifully dark olive green.
There are two tiny holes in the front of the dress.
They are so tiny, that on the body they become invisible.
Having in mind the fact , that this dress is nearly 100 years old, its condition is very good accordingly, because it is still functional and can be worn .
Otherwise its place should be in a fashion museum.
