Set of Six Puiforcat Sterling Dessert Knives France 19 c.
The knives bear two marks on one side:
The large guarantee silver Minerva 1 mark.
Head of Minerve 1st tire stands for 950/1000 French sterling silver guarantee.
The second mark is that of the maker Emile Puiforcat.
On the opposite side of the knives there is a stamp of an ant. That must be the mark of the actual silversmith.
They are monogrammed (see photos).
The pattern is intricate with roses and ribbons.

Hand cleaned and polished. Ready to be used.
Considering their age, the knives are in an extraordinary condition.
