Here is to your consideration a solid Sterling silver King’s pattern serving spoon by Gorham.
GORHAM & a sign of Anchor.
Gorham Silver dates since 1831. It was founded in Rhode Island.
The Sterling Gorham’s Trade Mark is Anchor.
A true King’s pattern spoon always has a shell to the back of the bowl.
Notable feature/device: honeysuckle.
A diamond heel is the most common of all the heels to the back of a King’s pattern piece with a union shell found on earlier examples.
The spoon is in a very good overall condition, the only flaw being slight push in of one spoon side. You can notice it only when you are aware of it.
It is monogrammed H.
