Vintage ca. 1800's Advertising Flour Scoop
The E-A-Co. flour mill was founded in 1877 in Waseca, Minn. by John Aughenbaugh and his partner William Everett. This wonderful flour scoop has an advertising button on the finger-hold for “A-E-CO Flour” with a Pegasus motif. The flat-bottomed flour scoop holds ¾ cup. It measures 6 ½” long including its handle and 3” wide. The scoop is in very good condition with a lightly aged patina. The white background on the button is a bit discolored with age, but it is firmly attached and the graphics are legible.
