"Peter Beilenson and his wife Edna started Peter Pauper Press in their Mount Vernon, N.Y., basement in 1928. The small attractive volumes cover a wide range of subjects from poetry to puzzles. The cookbook collection began circa 1950 and was the brainchild of Edna, who initiated the decorative cloth bindings with sweet illustrations and simple recipes that appeal to collectors". This fun little cook book has recipes for almost every letter of the alphabet. Every letter has a little rhyme followed by tasty, tempting recipes. The book is in excellent condition with no tears, markings, or stains. There is some minor shelf wear. The dust jacket has a couple of ink markings on the front and one adhesive spot on the back.
