Benjamin Franklin's Pennsylvania Gazette was first published in 1728 and it became known as The Saturday Evening Post in 1821. The Saturday Evening Post grew to become the most widely circulated weekly magazine in America. Each issue featured several short stories, essays, and often included serial installments appearing in successive issues. In this issue from May 12, 1962 the featured articles include "A Feminine Chat with Jackie Kennedy", "Do - or - Die For Nixon", and an interesting article about the wonderful "Vince Edwards" - tv's handsome Dr. Ben Casey! The advertisements are simply incredible! The magazine is in very good condition. There are no tears or markings. There is some creasing of the corners of the pages for the Ben Casey article and minor typical shelf wear along the edges. A great magazine from days gone by! Shipping will be discounted on multiple orders.
