In 1894 John Hubley incorporated the Hubley Manufacturing Company in Lancaster, PA. In 1909 the first cast iron toys were produced with household items following shortly thereafter. Cast iron products were produced until 1940, after that point they shifted to die-cast alloy molding. The company was bought by Gabriel Industries in 1965. This adorable Hubley circa 1930's boston terrier has the sweetest look on this face as he's looking over his shoulder at the bee perched on his rump.
