The inside markings of this lovely bangle bracelet from the 1930s tells us it was a patented design by the JJ White Co. by E.L. Weed. It is a front opening bracelet, easy to get on and just lovely. A beautiful silver- and gold-tone filigree bangle with a rectangular, unfoiled pink rhinestone in the center. Circa: 1930, pat 1933576 by E. L. Weed, Size: 7" by 5/8" wide. Some wear to metal. Comes in original box which has much wear.
Bangle bracelets were very popular in the 1930s but the filigree process was labor intensive, beautiful, and often made of of several elements. Worth the effort for such a beautiful result.
