The loveliest example of a Victorian era bar pin, purchased in England in this presentation box. The mystery is that the box is from a jeweler in Wellington which is in New Zealand, so where does it originate? We can't be sure. In any case, it has traveled a long way to belong to you. The brooch has a filigree setting and tests sterling silver. The carnelian cabochon in the center is surrounded by a braided setting. Very nice piece of antique jewelry.
Size: 2" long by .25 inches wide; Condition: Very Good; Circa: 1910 Comes with the box.
