Just an extraordinary vintage cross mink jacket, a mix of creamy white and black mink fur. The markings are just gorgeous and range from gray to black. The lower hemline has an eight inch panel that circles around the bottom of the jacket. The 5" wide dramatic collar can be folded up around the neck. The jacket has two front pockets and the sleeves are three quarter length. There are no clasps or buttons on this jacket, it is meant to hang loosely. The lining is a tan satin, in good condition with a few light stains on one side. This style looks amazing when open with so much mink fur luxuriously wrapping around the body frame. There are no furrier's marks but the original hanger comes with the coat and says B. Altman & Co Fur Salon.
Condition: Previously stated lining stain, one pocket has wear at the very bottom of the pocket, looks like a small portion has been repaired. Please see the picture. This piece is extremely soft, comfortable and elegant!
