This unique reversible sautoir necklace has deep blue cabochon stones enhanced with copper fluss on one side and a royal blue faceted stone on the other. In between these unusual stones are small double sided medallions accented with faux pearls. The clasp has a vanity plate that reads "Accessocraft N.Y.C. Pat. Pend." which probably has to do with the unusual reversible stones. The length makes it perfect for today's easy going styles.
Accessocraft was founded on the early 1930s in New York City and became known for its' war relief pins in WW2, but later became known for their stylized costume jewellery and accessories. They became popular in the 1960s, when they started to produce items heavily influenced by the renaissance, Victorian, Art Nouveau and Rococco style, and incorporated gold tone or bronzed metal set with unusual stones.
