Larry Vrba was a designer for Miriam Haskell from 1970-1978. One of his most popular collections, Ca. 1972-1977, is the Egyptian Collection inspired by King Tutankhamen exhibit. This interesting necklace is part of the collection. Imitation lapis lazuli beads with a gold pharaoh on each side are the centerpiece. Imitation coral and turquoise beads complete the look. Well covered in the book, "Miriam Haskell Jewelry" by Gordon & Pamfiloff beginning on page 217 several pieces of the collection are covered. On page 220 this necklace can be seen. Signed Miriam Haskell on the hook and on the hangtag. Excellent condition.
