I love discovering this piece, it is in mint condition in its original box and is made by Cheever Tweedy Co. Inc from Attleboro, MA (1915-1950s). The brand name is CeeTee from the two owners' names. In the 1950 heyday for American made costume jewelry, most manufacturers were in NYC, Providence, R.I., and Attleboro, MA. The bracelet is sterling silver with a rhodium-plated finish which is unusual but a great idea. We see lots of costume jewelry in a rhodium-plated finish, from the platinum family, because it does not tarnish but remains bright and shiny for decades. The bracelet is hinged and expands to easily slip on and off. The engraving is a floral, leaf, and scroll pattern. Original box with all labels intact is part of the purchase. Great bracelet from the 1950s.
