A beautiful signed Freirich 29" long necklace of mottled green glass with filigree beads. The wonderful green beads are varied in shape and size. The filigree beads are squared shape and in excellent condition all around. This color is spectacular, one of my very favorites.
Freirich was a French costume jewelry, button, and accessory company that was begun by Solomon Freirich in the 1920s. The company increased its costume jewelry production in 1955, when Solomon Freirich's son, Arthur Freirich, joined the firm. The 'FREIRICH' mark was first used on costume jewelry in the 1960s (Freirich jewelry produced before then is unmarked). The company closed in 1990.
