The Regent Jewelry Company, NYC founded in the 1950s by Mr. Polowitz introduced "Regency" jewelry line. Using spectacular colored stones, faux pearls and glass, pieces were set in gold tone, silver tone and a Japanned metal finish to complement dark- hued rhinestones, giving the jewelry a very distinctive look. The jewelry was sold directly to department stores in New York, Chicago and other large cities. The company closed its doors in 1972. High quality, stunning pieces.
