This beautiful vintage Florenza brooch and earring set is an interesting design. Set in a japanned finish, giving it that Florenza victorian style look, the green cabochon stones are known as flawed emeralds. The set is decorated with topaz and emerald rhinestones in an antiqued gold tone metal. The brooch is marked Florenza.

Size: Brooch: 1.5 inches; Clip Earrings: 1.5 inches; Condition: Very good condition. Circa: 1960s

Florenza was a jewelry line sold to jobbers. Started in the early 1950s by Dan Kasoff and then run by his son Larry, the company was located in the Garment District of New York City. Dan Kasoff, the company's founder, designed all of the Florenza pieces. Faux precious stones and a distinctly Victorian look are signatures of Florenza. After a bad accident almost took Larry's life in 1981, this beloved jewelry brand was forced to stop production.
