A stunning Edwardian era navette ring showcasing a vibrant red ruby surrounded by chunky old mine cut diamonds. The central oval cut ruby is a slightly orangeish red color with high clarity. It measures 6.5 mm by 5 mm and weighs approximately 0.90 carats. The stone is certified by GIA (Gemological Institute of America) as a natural ruby originating from Thailand, with absolutely no treatments.
The ruby is surrounded by variously shaped old mine cut diamonds. Above and below the ruby are pear shaped diamonds. The other diamonds are old mine and oval cuts. All the diamonds have great brilliance and weigh a total of approximately 2 carats. They range in quality from H-J color and VS-SI1 clarity.
