A vintage Chintzware divided serving dish bearing a "Cherry Blossom Mark" which was an generic mark for imports from Japan used by many companies including Noritake from the 1920's-1940's. This servers has a cream color ceramic body decorated with transfer Chintz designs in blue, green and maroon. The glaze surface has an all over craquelure finish with areas of darkening of the clay body. The dish has four equally sized divisions with a central metal handle. The decorative handle is heart shaped with a crown at the center top and a laurel motif along the sides. Condition is good without any chips. However, there is a hairline crack that runs through one of the compartments and can best be seen on the bottom of the dish. Please examine the above images for details. Overall the piece has a rather "Shabby Chic" appeal to it and is ready to serve up some little treats to your guess. Size 7 3/4" diameter with the handle standing a 3" tall.
