A very fine example of MOP blown glass in the Herringbone Pattern. This vase is in shades of pink with the darkest at the top fading down to very pale pink at the bottom. The interior base glass is white. The intricate air optic herringbone pattern expands around the globe shaped body and then draws together as the neck stretches upwards. The vase is finished off with a deeply ruffled and crimped edging. On the bottom the pontil was left unpolished and there is some fire scale residue. The vase is approximately 6 1/4 inches tall by 4 inches wide. Condition is excellent there no chips, cracks or repairs. There is some light soiling inside from use as a flower vase.
