A blown cranberry glass decanter with a squat straight sided cylindrical base. There is some definition on the internal glass surface of ribs that twist into a loose swirl as the glass was stretched up to form the neck of the decanter. The top was fluted into a pouring spout and a clear pulled glass handle was applied. The stopper was blown from clear glass and has the shape of a crowned bell. Both the stopper and the internal neck are fitted to prevent evaporation of the stored contents. The bottom has a unground pontil mark, evidence of the glass blowing process. Condition is excellent there is no damage to report. Measurements are 11" T with the stopper in place and 5 " diameter at the base.
