This is a vintage composition Bye-lo baby doll designed by Grace Putnam from circa 1924. She modeled it from a newborn baby. She wears her original dress that is 18” long. She has blue sleep eyes. It has some paint wear to her lips and the back of her head. There is one larger craze line that is filled in behind her right ear and 1” over it. She has celluloid hands. It has a cloth body.
She wears a cotton baby bonnet, beautiful lacey jacket and fine fitted long dress with many pin- tucks and antique lace. It is very long at 35” with an additional 32” slip that has many pin-tucks and antique lace. There are some water marks by her knees on her cloth body. She wears cotton socks and crochet booties.
