This is an antique bisque head shoulder plate doll by Kestner in Germany that is 24" long from approximately 1892. Her head is marked 10 with mold number 166. She has blue glass stationary eyes, brush stroke lower lashes and eyebrows nicely done by hand. She has an open mouth with 4 teeth showing. She has a kid leather jointed body. She has jointed upper legs and knees.
She has a bright red curled wig and a lace bonnet that matches her dress.
She is wearing a beautiful antique dress with many layers and rows of insertion lace and pin tuck accents that is attached to an under-dress. She has a darkened vintage slip with pin tucks and lace and also newer pantaloons. She has vintage long stockings with hand crochet stockings over them and she has vintage black tie shoes with bow accents.
Her 3 middle fingers on both hands have the fingertips chipped off.
