Antique German wax over composition girl doll from approximately 1910 with stationary blue glass eyes and a beautiful auburn red mohair wig. She has good painted eyebrows, lashes and lips. Small amount of wax chipped off middle of chin about 1/4". There is a 1/2" scratch under right chin.
She wears an antique silk blue dress that has some wear holes on sleeves, at waist and lower back. The wide silk ribbon above pleating has age disintegration. There are eleven material covered buttons on front of dress for closure that are same color as dress. She wears an old cameo pin.
She won 4th place ribbon at the UFDC United Federation of Doll Clubs 2012 national convention in the wax over composition category. Buyer keeps the ribbon.
Her stuffed body has composition lower arms and lower legs seem to be china painted white with pink painted boots with black painted trim.
She has antique pantaloons and slip with antique lace. She has an antique black cape with braid trim. It had silk fringe, only remnants of the silk trim remain. The rest of the cape is in good condition. She also has a black velvet vintage hat with feather and berries trim. Some surface wear is on the berries.
