Shirley Temple 1950's vinyl doll 19" tall with flirty eyes and tagged rare dress.
This is an original Shirley Temple vinyl doll that is 19" tall and has flirty eyes.
She wears a very rare tagged dress. She is the same doll as shown on page 75 in Ed Pardella's book 'The Shirley Temple Collector's Guide' published by Schiffer in 2005. The dress is from the movie 'Stand Up and Cheer'. This dress style was used in the 1930's and usually had red dots. This dress is from the 1950's with the 1950 style identification tag but is made from the same organdy print and styling as the 1930's. The tag is faded and hard to read but says 'Shirley Temple made by Ideal Toy Corp'. The dress is clean and has no stains. There is a very slight worn spot at the front of the collar edge. It has a sewed in slip and she also has her original panties, socks and shoes. A snap on the left shoe has become detached.
She is in good condition. She has flirty eyes. The back of her head is marked 'Ideal Doll ST-19-1.' Her back is marked the same as her head. She has a good set to her pretty curls and is nice and clean. She has her original ribbon in her hair and also an added replaced ribbon and an added vintage blue lamb barrette in her hair.
