Martha Chase 17" latex head boy doll Circa 1950's
This is a later style Martha Chase latex head boy Circa 1950's cloth doll measuring 17" long. He has painted brown eyes and brown hair. He has very slight wear to his eyebrows. He has paint rub on the tip of nose, above top lip and upper lip and on his hair.
He has a cloth body. He has individual fingers with thumb separate from other 4 fingers that are joined together but with individual sew lines. The covering at his elbows, shoulder joints, leg joints and ankles show some surface wear. Ends of fingers show slight wear.
He is wearing newer replaced clothing which consists of a stripped navy and beige long sleeve shirt with buttons with cranberry colored bow tie, gray wool knickers pants with matching cap, boy argyle style socks and white tie shoes. He has a nicely made sleeveless linen color shirt with curved collar with cotton lace trim as an undershirt. It may be silk with linen lining.
His body is weighted and heavy for his size similar to Martha Chase hospital baby.
