This is a Celluloid head boy doll 12-1/2" tall made in Germany by Buschow and Beck / Minerva. This company made celluloid dolls from 1900 on. He has molded hair and has a closed mouth, cloth jointed body with celluloid hands. He is made very well with good construction and high quality details. He looks like a Kathe Kruse doll. He wears vintage clothes, velvet pants, leather school bag and vintage shoes and socks. His back is marked with the Buschow and Beck / Minerva symbol and under that is marked 'Germany No 4 30'.
