This is a German antique bisque doll that is 13" tall in very good condition. She has a leather body. Her bisque head is marked Kestner with mold # 148. She is from circa 1892 on. She has very good facial painting. She has brown sleep eyes with no hair lashes. She has a porcelain shoulder-plate with no joint at neck, her head does not move from side to side. She has a leather body that is gusseted at the seat and knees. Below the knees is material with left shin under socks having a 1/4" hole. She has vintage socks and shoes. Her arms are sewed on to body with strong threads, the leather of arms not attached to body except by the strong threads which is somewhat loose in the tension so arms can move very freely. She has a long brown human hair wig in very good condition.
Her head is marked 2/148 and her shoulder-plate is marked 'Made in Germany'. She has a replaced hair bow attached with a straight pin. She wears new replaced pantaloons and new hand-made charcoal colored straw hat with feathers and ribbon flowers and other flowers. She has a new replaced antique style dress.
