This is a 1950-1960 Made in Spain PIRULA Doll, is from the collection of the Typical Costumes Regions of Spain called LINDA. Difficult to come by as they stop production many years ago and only can be seen in private collections. They were made in ONIL, Spain in Alicante, where most of the doll factories are located. They are 10" tall and made of POLIESTIRENO, and are totally jointed. They have hand made colored faces with beautiful blue sleep flirty eyes and real eyelashes. Blonde hair wig and beautifully designed regional dresses. She keeps the original factory tag, one the other side of the tag it can be read the Spanish region, she is from and the price in pesetas, back then the national monetary unit. This one has earrings and is dressed as a the typical Women from Madrid. She is in great condition, only missing her shoes. She is # 0157 and represents the city of Avila, in Castlla, Spain.
