This is 1999 Annual Edition Mel Odom Gene Doll designed by Tim Kennedy for The Ashton Drake Company. She is #76065 'Song of Spain' and has been retired. This is a magnificent fantasy of a Matador costume in Black and gold brocade, fully lined with gold satin. The outfit includes a Matador's hat with a long stemmed red rose, shoes and golden hoop earrings.
"The skirt comes off and becomes a cape, and the cape can be reversed and you can have a brocade skirt and a red skirt. The jacket comes off a you a have a little bolero under it, and the skirt and bolero looks like an evening gown, or you could have it with just the toreador pants and top, it is like having seven or eight different outfits" Mel Odom
This doll is in MINT condition, it is the right doll for the serious Gene collector, comes in its original box, with COA and shipper box.
