This item is a celery dish made of white bodied porcelain. The dish is 12 1/2" long, 5 3/4" wide, by 1 3/4" deep. The piece has piercings below the handles that are trimmed in gold and the upper slightly scalloped edge has a single row of raised beads around the inside also trimmed in gold. The interior decoration consists of a large group of hydrangeas with leaves, stems, and buds with smaller groups under each handle. The colors in the decoration are green, white, yellow, pink, and purples. There is a row of stylized blossoms and leaves around the inside rim of the dish done in gold. The gold has some wear on the very upper edge and on the center group of flowers and leaves on the sides. The mark on the bottom of the piece is a tent with a crown in it with a flag on it's top, there is a "P" on the left and a "K" on the right of the flag, and Silesia is under that mark.
