This item is a porcelain plate based on John James Audubon's view of the mallard duck. The plate is 8" in diameter and has a teal outer rim trimmed on both sides by gold. The decoration is transfer and depicts two pair of ducks in the rushes by a shallow pool. One pair are feeding, and the female in the other pair is drinking. The maker's mark on the back is "Dar-A-Bon, Howlett Hill Road, R.D. 1 Camillus, NY". There are no chips, cracks, or repairs on this lovely plate.
