This item is a 1974 cobalt blue and 24 karat gold decorated Mother's Day plate. The plate is 7 1/2" in diameter and comes with it's original issue box. The item is decorated with a mom holding a bouquet of flowers with a little girl still picking more. The base of the plate has flowers in full bloom with a tree to the left and a bush to the right. There are three birds, a butterfly, and a turtle to round out the design. The script on the plate reads "A Bouquet For Mother". It is number 156 of a limited edition of 2000 plates. The plate was made by Linder of Kueps, Bavaria for H.H. Lihs - Imports Long Beach, Calif. The plate is mint with prefabricated holes in the back rim for hanging.
