This item is an unmarked "Burmese" glass vase with a hand decorated hunting motif and a fire polished top rim. The piece is 6" tall, 1 5/8" at the top opening, 1 1/4" across the neck, a 3" body diameter, by 1 3/4" across the base. The top rim is fire polished in a band about 3/8" wide with two black stripes with a row of raised dots between them and another stripe at the base of the neck. The central decoration depicts an archer shooting at flying birds. the archer has a flat topped cap, yellow cape with gold starbursts, blue pantaloons with gold accents, brown leggings, and sandals. He is standing on a green slope with tall grass patches aiming at to well defined birds in flight. There are long flower decorated branches flanking the central decoration with small stylized birds on the outer edges of the main decoration.
