This item is a cranberry opalescent hobnail bowl pictured in, "the big book of Fenton Glass 1940-1970" by John Walk. The piece is 4" deep at the double crimped upper rim, 6 3/4" across the top, with a foot diameter of 2 1/2". The body is cranberry colored glass with strong opalescence that flows from the rim into the first three rows of hobnails which decorate the body of the bowl.
