This item is a basket in the "Tutone" pattern pictured on page 275 of "The Collector's Encyclopedia of Weller Pottery" by Sharon and Bob Huxford and bottom marked with a half flask with scalloped bottom with "Weller Pottery" above it and an "H". The piece is 7 5/8" tall at the handle top, 8 1/2" across, by 5" wide and dates from the mid 1920's. The handle is in the form of two leaves, with a white blossom and three purple berries on stems as body decoration. The handle and upper rim are green with light tan in the center that shades to brown at the base. The basket has light crazing on the upper edge and bottom, but there are no chips, hairlines, or repairs. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or to make an offer.
