This item is a middle period two handled Blackberry pattern jardiniere circa 1932 from Roseville Pottery. The piece is 10" tall, 13 3/4" across the handles, by 7" across the unmarked bottom. The upper rim is green below which is a band of well defined ochre leaves with thorny stems and groups of blackberries on a brown background shaded back to green around the base. The body of the jardiniere is textured below the design, and the upper rim, handles, interior, and bottom are smooth. The reliefs on the piece are well defined with strong color. There is an old chip on the interior rim 3/8" long, 3/16" tall, by less than 1/16" deep, but there are no signs of use, crazing, or repairs on the jardiniere.
