This item is a sterling silver souvenir spoon from the 1893 Columbian Exposition. The spoon is 5 3/4" long by 1 1/4" across the bowl. The handle is decorated with a bust of Columbus, a sword, and an anchor. The bowl is decorated with the Santa Maria his flag ship. The back of the handle has Queen Isabella over a globe that has a banner 1492-1893 across it, sterling, and Pat. app. for. The spoon is in excellent condition with no wear and only minimal toning.
