Thirteen butcher hooks line the lower arch of this butcher's rack. Decorative metalwork, which was painted white, scrolls above the hooks. As butcher hooks go, most are very utilitarian with little flair. This overly ornate French set from the 1700's is like no other butchers rack we have ever seen. Use it as a pot hanger in the kitchen, for tools in the garden or keys at the front door. Protective sleeves could also be place on the hooks to use as a coat rack.
