Everything in this necklace is made of celluloid, including the black beads. The enamel work on the face of the pendant is in wonderful condition and depicts what appears to be a pharaoh performing a religious rite. It is a stellar example of the Egyptian revival jewelry from the 1920's that was spurred by the discovery of King Tut's tomb.
