This fabulous golden dragon perched on a lapis-blue colored stone is an early Kenneth Jay Lane work of art. One of the curious things about this piece is that while it does not have the K.J.L. nameplate, it is marked with the date that it was created (1971). We can positively identify this brooch as Kenneth Lane from his book, "Faking It," pictured on page 94.
