Elzac, founded by Elliot and Ruth Handler, were known for their unique figural pins that portrayed exaggerated features and exotic designs. This couple also went on to establish a "little" company called Mattel.
The Bonnet Heads are some of the most collectable and well-recognized pieces from Elzac. These two Elzac Bonnet Head pins feature black Lucite framing their bronze faces. Their "bonnets" are slightly different from each other, and I think it would be wonderful for an Elzac collector to have a matching set like this.
