Antique Victorian Aesthetic period 6 piece silverplate tea/coffee service with tray c.1882. Gorgeous! This set was made by the Mark Willis & Son Sheffield England,Daniel Arter Birmingham England . It has all the decorative bells and whistles one might expect in an Aesthetic movement design. The bodies are beautifully Decorated in exceptionally nice condition and Hand chased florals. The very large tray has a beautiful shape and is decorated to match. The Footed Tray is Hallmarked MW&S EP , measures about 24 1/2" from handle to handle by 14 1/4" by 2" tall . Overall condition is very good to excellent. The coffee pot is hallmarked Wheat Sheaf Wheatley Brothers Sheffield. The remaining items are hallmarked EPNS. The Hot Water Kettle with Stand is hallmarked D&A EPNS 9268 Hard Soldered 5. D&A for Daniel Arter from Birmingham England 1882. The water kettle with stand and burner are all in extremely nice condition, 9+, the kettle has a locking pin along with the burner. The hinge lids all work nicely with NO issues, they are all nice and tight with NO wiggle. The tray is hallmarked MW&S for Mark Willis, 1886 Sheffield England . The pot interiors are clean. This is a matching set although the Tray, Hot Water kettle and largest pot all have different hallmarks which I have given. I want to reiterate that this is a matching set, Has been in 1 Family for over 65 years. To give an idea of the size of the pieces the coffee pot is 9 1/2” tall to the finial, The tea pot is 7 1/2" tall,The hot water kettle is 13" tall, the waste bowl is 4 3/8” by 8 3/8" wide,the creamer is 4 1/8" tall and the tray is 24 5/8” from the handles and 14 1/2” wide.
