Stunning Victorian Cameo and Pearl necklace, that is also a brooch. This brooch dates back to the early 1900's or late 1800's. The back side of the brooch can also hold a pendent on the hook . The necklace is made of fresh water potato pearls that have been hand knotted in between each pearl. I do not know when it undoubtedly replaced the original necklace. The two strands are held together by 5 bars that are stamped 14K, the gold beads test 14K. There are dings in many of the beads, but the shine makes them harder to see. I am not sure what the black beads are, I cannot say if they are onyx. The necklace can be removed from the brooch from both sides to be a perfect brooch. The fine black enamel line around the edge of the brooch has worn off in some areas. The necklace measures 18 inches. The brooch shows signs of repair on the pin hook. It has tested 10k WG. The brooch other wise tests 14Kt and is not marked. The brooch weighs 8.47 grams and the necklace weighs about 50 grams without the brooch.
