McCoy pottery was made in Roseville, Ohio. Nelson McCoy and J.W. McCoy established the Nelson McCoy Sanitary and Stoneware Company in Roseville, Ohio, in 1910. The firm made art pottery after 1926. In 1933 it became the Nelson McCoy Pottery Company. Pieces marked McCoy were made by the Nelson McCoy Pottery Company.

This pitcher is from their Canyon collection. It measures 7" high, holds 32 oz and is marked "McCoy 1429 USA" on the bottom.

The light fleck under the spout is part of the piece. It was made that way. It isn't a nick or a sign of wear. The pottery is smooth without any nicks or damages. It is in very good to excellent condition.
